Ristorante da Lina
Da Lina is a Restaurant located in the outskirt of Stimigliano.
The environment is warm and the food excellent: the Picchiarelli, the Stimigliano version of Stringozzi or Manfricoli (the name changes from village to village), very simple pasta made with just water and flower are a hit.
I had them with mushrooms and fresh Truffle Flakes. Also the Fettuccine with white ragu sauce of wild boar were very appreciated as was appreciated the polenta with sausages.
The quality of the meat is excellent. The Tagliata di Manzo was properly cooked, served medium as required and the Coratella (lamb heart, liver and lungs) was spot on.
We finished the meal with profitterol.
We combined the meal with the tour of the church of Santa Maria della Lode in Vescovìo, a cathedral that had a very important role in the history of the area and a quick tour of the cute hilltop town of Montasola.
